An advance loan is a short-term loan of a maximum of € 500 to € 750 and was originally intended to serve as an advance on the salary at the end of the month. Once the wage payment has been received, the advance must be repaid, including administrative costs.
Why advance loan?
An advance loan can, however, also be used for other purposes: unexpected disappointments such as repairs of washing machines and cars, but also for the purchase of offers such as new LCD screens or down payments for holidays. The big advantage of an advance loan is that it can be applied for and assessed quickly and easily. Unlike regular loans, no BKR assessment is carried out.
Advance loans and mini loans
You can also submit an application for an advance loan or mini-loan if you have a negative bkr coding behind your name at the Credit Registration Office. Because the amounts are not too high (€ 750 at most) and must be repaid within a short period, they do not fall under the BKR conditions. They state that the amount must be at least € 500 and must have been lent to a natural person (usually a private person) for at least a period of 3 months. This is not the case because the amounts are usually included and the repayment period is less than 3 months. It is, however, required that one has a regular fixed income, because primarily the advance loan is an advance on the next wage payment.
